Guidelines for Educators:

Dear Fellow Educators,

This WebQuest is designed to engage 7th-grade ESL students in creating a travel brochure about Puerto Rico while developing their research, writing, and language skills. The project aligns with the Puerto Rico Core Standards for English as a Second Language and incorporates structured language development activities.

Implementation Tips:

Allow 2-3 weeks for completion, with approximately 45-60 minutes per session
Pre-teach vocabulary related to geography, climate, and travel
Have physical examples of travel brochures to show students
Modify research requirements based on your students' English proficiency levels
Provide additional scaffolding for students who need extra support
